New Client: Department of Energy & Climate Change

Ben Darlington | 12 February 16

Benefacto are thrilled to announce that we’ve started working with our first government department, the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC).

The DECC works to make sure the UK has secure clean and affordable energy supplies, and promotes international action to mitigate climate change.

We’re really excited to be working with a new client and diversifying our volunteers, rather than working exclusively with corporates and private companies. We’ve had great success working with the Financial Conduct Authority, which is one of our longest standing clients, and a non-governmental public body. Working with the DECC is a natural progression for Benefacto, and will likely pave the way towards working with far more public organisations.
We’ve already had our first bookings from pioneering DECC volunteers, and we hope to see many more making use of their generous three days volunteering allowance to make a meaningful contribution to the local community!
