New Charity Partnership: Share

Linz Darlington | 19 October 15

Serving residents from the boroughs of Lambeth, Merton, Southwark and Croydon, South London-based Share helps people with disabilities with training and support so they can lead more independent lives.

The charity’s focus is on what people can do not what’s holding them back, believing that everyone has potential and something to share.

Courses include personal development programmes, such as the Go Anywhere, Do Anything initiative, which supports clients to enjoy new experiences in London to boost their confidence, as well as traineeships in horticulture and catering to give young disabled adults the skills they need to gain paid employment. The organisation works with up to 150 individuals a year, making a real difference to their lives and their families.

We’re honoured to have Share onboard at Benefacto, and to be able to offer opportunities for our volunteers either on the Horticulture traineeship programme or getting involved with activities at the Share Community.

We're helping companies big and small run more effective employee volunteering programmes

Linz Darlington was inspired to start Benefacto when he worked as a management consultant for Accenture. With three paid days off a year to spend volunteering, he had a tough time choosing a local charity where his skills could make a real impact. These days he spends his life matching talented professionals with amazing charities. Contact Linz via
