Manchester Volunteering

Announcing Benefacto in Manchester!

The team at Benefacto are thrilled to announce that we are expanding our employee volunteering service to Manchester for the summer of 2017.

Over the last six months we have been consulting with the business and charity community to explore how our work could support more professional people to volunteer.

Manchester is a unique city with an extraordinary tradition of charity and philanthropic work.

We hope we’ll be able to develop a service for Manchester that will support the incredible charities who serve communities across Greater Manchester. We’re also looking forward to working with Manchester’s business community to unlock the energy of professional people who have time off to volunteer.

A big thank you

This is also an opportunity to thank our first corporate members. We are very excited to start working with Mace Group, Kellogg’s and MediaCom. We really appreciate their pioneering support of this new project and their vision for volunteering.

Thanks too to everyone who has shared their time and insight, joined us to discuss volunteering at our roundtable last month, and generally helped us shape our understanding of how we can contribute to the charitable sector in the city. If you’d like to find out how we can help your company’s volunteering work please do give us a shout.

For charities who’d like to find out more about Benefacto’s support, we have now opened applications to join our first cohort of 8 Manchester charities. There’s more information here, or you can get in touch directly to find out more. We aim to begin matching volunteers from early summer 2017.

Many thanks again from all of us at Team Benefacto and we very much look forward to working with you in the coming months.
